Freedom for creativity is the strength of ArcadeIT! development system.
The special Freedom-Kit lets you design your device in shape and components!
Youdecide the layout of the electronic boards, hardware,
and special parts for your project.
If you need to, you can redesign everything by just disassembling and reassembling it differently. Isn't that cool?
The SDK provides a set of drivers to let you develop your project on the ArcadeIT! development system. There are many demos that cover several development fields (graphics, sound, math, ...), and in addition, a special bonus application lets you use the ArcadeIT! as a standalone system similar to a retro computer.
A command line shell with a text editor, a LUA programming language interpreter, and many other amazing demos will give you hours of fun!
Manage your files in the SD-Card, and inspect them by showing their content in ASCII or hexadecimal format.
Images as background or in a slideshow, 2D/3D real-time graphics can be shown on a VGA monitor and/or two LCDs.
Last but not least, you can take advantage of graphics, real-time sound generation, or audio file playing for game design.
You can start to develop your applications from the demo projects, or you can create your own projects from the ground using the STM32CubeIDE or any other IDE that supports the STM32F469 MCUs.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could
play the original game cartridges of your vintage console? Thanks to the architecture of the ArcadeIT!, you can easily develop custom hardware such as game cartridge adapters, and play games directly on the emulator!
ArcadeIT! can run several vintage systems based on 8-bit microprocessors like the Zilog Z80 or the MOS 6502. This means that you can also design a completely new system, and develop old school software/hardware. The SDK comprehend a small library of drivers that emulate old hardware that you can use or you can adapt third-part software to run on ArcadeIT!
