The serial port is typically used as a debug tool, but speaking of arcades, in the past there were many serial devices.
So, it's now possible to interface to many serial peripherals such as controllers, input output peripherals, or even other ArcadeIT! boards.
If you want to interface the ArcadeIT! to a PC through this serial port, you can use a RS232 to USB cable or a USB to serial module adapter.
I2C port has been added to the ArcadeIT system to give users a bus that can be used for low speed sensors and controllers for special mechanical games.

The USB port of the ArcadeIT board supports low speed devices. It can handle almost every HID device by developing a proper driver.
This port is mainly used for Keyboard and Mouse. There is no need to use it to read USB pen drives because this system is already equipped by an SD-CARD.
